How’d I get here?

For the sake of time, I’ll just assume you understand the birds and the bees.

Fast-forward to my big debut on this beautiful planet.

I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. To be fair, I only knew of three jobs that existed in the entire world:

Nurses (Uh, blood? No, thank you. I completely passed out after hearing a friend’s birth story. It wasn’t pretty.)

Mail carriers (Even at age 5, I had the intuition to know I would not be good at that job.)

Teachers (YESS!! Paper, notebooks, folders, Ticonderogas. Are you kidding me? I loved school! And teachers practically live there, right? What could be better?)

So I taught high school English for seven years and elementary reading and writing for another three.

I. LOVED. MY. JOB. It was a dream!

But then I got married and had kids. (Here we are again. Skipping the birds and bees.)

And doing the whole work-life balance was just as hard as I expected.

But then something amazing happened.

It was a happy accident when I first learned about copywriting. (Can you believe a fourth job exists in the world?)

I’ve always loved words. I love the power and scope they possess.

Sometimes they grab you by the throat. And other times they lull you to sleep.

They echo in your chest like a drumbeat. And fall from your lips like honey.

They make you shout in outrage, gasp with excitement, and scoff in disgust.

They leave you weeping with sadness or belly-laughing with delight.

You have words tucked inside that have been there for years. Words that have hurt you. Words that have shaped you. Words that have given you life.

I am in awe of the complex power of words. And that’s why I love writing.

Business owners all over the world harness the power of words to build their businesses and sell their services.

But here’s a little secret. They don’t do it themselves. They hire people like me to tell their stories.

It’s a privilege to partner with you. To craft copy with enough punch to make a point and enough charisma to create a connection.

So let’s team up. I’ll do the writing. You do the dreaming.

And that way, you’ll have more time for the birds and bees.

What People Are Saying

“I was in awe of how she was able to take my rudimentary thoughts and ramblings and transform those thoughts and ideas into beautifully written content.

It felt like I was the one speaking through the content and I could never thank her enough for the boost of confidence she gave me in promoting my small business”
